Meteorite confirms 200 cr years of Martian volcanic activity

Analysis of a Martian meteorite found in Africa has uncovered evidence of 200 crore years of volcanic activity on Mars, confirming the Red planet has some of the longest-lived volcanoes in the solar system. Notably, the largest Martian volcano Olympus Mons is nearly 27 kilometres high, almost triple the height of Earth's tallest volcano Mauna Kea in Hawaii.
