Israel government's cyber-security agency has sent out an alert regarding a method that would allow hackers to hijack WhatsApp accounts through the voicemail feature. According to their report, the hacking system works when users are using services from mobile service providers. The hacking method was first documented last year by Ran Bar-Zik, an Israeli web developer at Oath.
