The new Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro Line (Pune Metro Line 3) is nearing completion and is expected to start operations by March 2026, dramatically reducing the current two-hour commute between Hinjewadi IT Park and Shivajinagar to just about 30 minutes. The 23-km elevated corridor will improve connectivity for IT workers, ease congestion and boost accessibility.
