Mewar king Maharana Pratap Singh's descendant, Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, joined BJP ahead of Rajasthan Assembly elections. Karni Sena founder Lokendra Singh Kalvi's son, Bhawani Singh Kalvi, has also joined the party. Both the leaders are from Rajput community. Bhawani Kalvi has been a well-known polo player. His father gained popularity after a protest against Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'.
