Mexican Governor steps down after US drug trafficking charges

The Governor of Mexico's Sinaloa, Ruben Rocha Moya, stepped down from his position after the US charged him with drug trafficking. The Governor has been accused of protecting the Sinaloa cartel, helping it smuggle drugs into the US and taking millions in bribes. The US indicted 10 current and former Mexican officials for drug trafficking and weapons offences.
