Mexican authorities found several migrants hidden inside secret compartments of trucks using an X-ray scanner at checkpoints. The migrants are now in the custody of the National Migration Institute. Mexico has increased efforts to stop the flow of Central American migrants to the US following a deal under which it avoided tariffs threatened by US President Donald Trump.
