MHA transfers 3 officers to parent cadre days after arrests in FCRA bribery case
The Union Home Ministry has transferred three senior officers of the Foreigners Division-II to their parent cadres. This comes days after two junior bureaucrats from the same division were arrested for allegedly seeking bribes to help clear pending Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) registrations. Notably, FCRA registration is mandatory for NGOs to receive foreign funds.
