Former Australia cricketer Simon Katich has been appointed as the head coach of MI Cape Town for the inaugural season of SA20. Katich will be joined by former South Africa batter Hashim Amla as the team's batting coach and ex-New Zealand cricketer James Pamment as fielding coach. Notably, Pamment is also the fielding coach of IPL franchise MI.
