In an attempt to lure new and young audience into its mobile world, Microsoft has agreed to acquire the developer of the popular video game, Minecraft, for $2.5 billion. Minecraft has gained huge popularity since its full release by developer Mojang in 2011. It is the top-paid app for Apple's iOS as well as for Google's Android systems.
