Microsoft has discouraged using its web browser Internet Explorer as the default one, saying that it is not modernising anymore. "We're not supporting new web standards for it," cybersecurity expert Chris Jackson wrote in a blog post pointing out the "perils" of using it. Microsoft had previously announced it will end support for Internet Explorer 10 on January 31, 2020.
