Microsoft's net profit in the second quarter of FY24 surged 33% to $21.9 billion from $16.4 billion in the corresponding quarter last year, while revenue increased 18% to $62 billion from $52.7 billion in the year-ago period. Microsoft Cloud revenue was $33.7 billion, up 24% year over year, driven by strong execution by its sales teams and partners.
