Microsoft has officially shut down the telecommunications app Skype on Monday as it wants to shift the focus to Microsoft Teams Free, which offers the same features as Skype. This will only impact free and paid Skype users, but not Skype for Business. Meanwhile, Skype Number subscriptions will work until the end of each user’s current billing period.
