Microsoft outage causes ₹75,350-crore wealth wipeout of Crowdstrike investors

The global outage of Microsoft Windows on Friday, which was caused by an update of American cybersecurity company Crowdstrike, has wiped out $9 billion (over ₹75,350 crore) from the latter's market capitalisation. Crowdstrike's shares closed 11.10% lower on Friday following the outage while shares of Microsoft also fell 0.74%. Crowdstrike is still worth over $74.21 billion.
