LinkedIn, the job portal owned by Microsoft, has fired hundreds of workers as part of its efforts to become profitable, reports claimed. The affected 606 employees work in departments like engineering, product, marketing, and LinkedIn's Global Business Organisation. This comes days after CEO Daniel Shapiro said the company needs to "operate more profitably" and "reinvent how we work".
