Microsoft has reportedly initiated a new round of layoffs, impacting around 1,000 employees in its Azure cloud unit and the mixed reality team, as part of the company's restructuring efforts to adapt to the rapidly changing technology sector. A significant portion of the layoffs are occurring in the Strategic Missions and Technologies division of the company.
