Microsoft's exit offer covers over 25% of its total workforce

Microsoft has offered voluntary exits to 60,000 employees, equivalent to over 25% of its global workforce. The company had 2,23,000 full-time employees globally as of June 30, 2026. The offer is available to eligible employees in Canada, India, the UK and the US until early December, with those accepting expected to leave by the end of the month.
