Shares of technology major Microsoft surged as much as 6.2% to hit an all-time high of $60.30, in nearly 17 years, after the software company posted quarterly earnings above expectations. This came after Microsoft said sales from its cloud product Azure rose 116%. Microsoft reported a 4.3% year-on-year decline in net profit in September quarter to $4.6 billion.
