Microsoft has unveiled an AI model named VASA-1 that uses a single photo and an audio clip to generate hyper-realistic videos of talking human faces. The model also captures a large range of facial expressions and natural head motions. However, Microsoft said it won't release the model publicly until the company is certain the technology will be used responsibly.
