Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Monday said Microsoft "wasn't that incented to improve the browser" before Chrome was launched in 2008. He stated that the browser market "had kind of stagnated" before Chrome's arrival. Chrome was a "pretty dramatic improvement", Pichai said, adding that Google made it easy for users to switch to another search engine.
