Microsoft said its profit went down by 12% year-on-year to $16.4 billion during the quarter ended December 2022. The software maker posted revenue of $52.7 billion in the quarter, up by 2% from the same period a year ago. Microsoft's operating income was $20.4 billion during the quarter, which is a decline of 8% over the corresponding quarter in 2021.
