Middle East tensions push crude price to $72-73 per barrel

Middle East tensions have pushed crude from about $65 to $72-73 per barrel. ICRA warns a prolonged conflict or Hormuz disruption could tighten global oil and LNG supplies. Despite the risks, experts say prices remain far below the $145 peak witnessed in 2007-08 and are unlikely to cross $80 per barrel.
