Supreme Court on Friday put on hold an order by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of Calcutta High Court, who had asked for documents pertaining to his removal from a case by midnight. It overruled the judge's order and said it wasn't proper in view of "judicial discipline". Gangopadhyay had given an interview in which he commented on cases he was hearing.
