15 RD33 series engines have been delivered within a month of signing a contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the MiG-29UPG program. The contract, valued at ₹5,300 crore, signifies a major step towards modernizing the IAF fighter jets.The RD33 engines are expected to enhance the performance and lifespan of the MiG-29UPG aircraft.
