Miley Cyrus has settled a $300 million (₹2,150 crore) copyright infringement lawsuit by a Jamaican songwriter who accused the US pop star of stealing her 2013 hit "We Can't Stop". Michael May sued Cyrus in March 2018, claiming that "We Can't Stop" closely resembled his 1988 reggae song "We Run Things". May said his song reached number one in Jamaica.
