Millions of Chinese people are travelling across the country in what the state media described as 'revenge tourism' in a bid to boost the economy following months of lockdowns and restrictions on their movement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. China expects around 550 million people will make trips within the country during an eight-day public holiday.
