Miniso was fined ₹1,000 by the district consumer disputes redressal commission for charging a customer ₹12 for a paper carry bag in Chandigarh. The store stated that there was no rule which obligated the retailers to provide carry bags free of cost. However, the commission observed that the seller is obliged to deliver goods in a complete state of delivery.
