Vijay Deverakonda has said his character in film 'Arjun Reddy', which was criticised for being misogynistic, loved women and he only came back from the "self-destruction mode" after Reddy's grandmother passed away. "Misogyny is hatred of women...where's...women-hatred that I'm not seeing," he added. He further said the controversy around the film will affect his choice of scripts in the future.
