Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach handed over a pair of spectacles to the pageant's host Steve Harvey before he announced the winner of Miss Universe 2016. During the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, Harvey had announced the wrong winner leading to Miss Colombia being crowned. He then corrected himself and announced Pia as the Miss Universe 2015 winner.
