After wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant rejoined DC from LSG, captain Axar Patel recalled missing two of Pant's calls. He said, "I missed his first call, and when he called again, I still couldn't answer. I called him later and asked, 'What happened? Is something urgent?' He replied, 'Bhai, it's confirmed. I'm coming back.'" Pant was with the DC for eight seasons.
