Misspelled memorial to Brontë sisters corrected after 85 years in London
short by Medhaa Gupta / on Saturday, 28 September, 2024
A misspelled memorial to the 19th-century novelists Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë in London's Westminster Abbey has been corrected after 85 years. Charlotte's 'Jane Eyre', Emily's 'Wuthering Heights', and Anne's 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall' are notable works of the Victorian era.
