After a 25-year-old protester was booked for abusing PM Narendra Modi during a CJP protest, CJP's Saurav Das said, "The misuse of criminal machinery against Ruchika Singh is unacceptable." He added, "Profanity does not attract a criminal case," and asked police to focus on lawmakers facing criminal cases in the country. "Harassment of the young must stop immediately," he added.
