Hobart Hurricanes' 23-year-old opener Mitchell Owen smashed a 39-ball hundred in the final against David Warner-led Sydney Thunder as his team clinched their first-ever Big Bash League (BBL) title. Thunder put up a total of 182/7, with Nathan Ellis-led Hurricanes chasing down the target in 14.1 overs. Owen, who hit the joint-fastest BBL hundred, aggregated 108(42) in the match.
