Actor-BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty has filed a civil defamation suit of ₹100 crore against Trinamool spokesperson Kunal Ghosh over Ghosh’s comments about Chakraborty’s son. The actor accused Ghosh of “falsely linking his son to a rape case”. The lawsuit also alleges that Ghosh falsely claimed Chakraborty was involved in chit fund scams and had joined BJP to protect himself.
