Mizoram maps wildfire prone areas

Geospatial analysis has identified areas in Mizoram with higher susceptibility to forest fires by combining environmental and spatial data. The maps can help authorities identify vulnerable landscapes, strengthen early warning systems and prioritise prevention measures and firefighting resources before fires occur during the state's dry season.
