MLA Sanjay Upadhyay recently visited the redeveloped precinct outside Bandra Railway Station. After the visit, he proposed a similar makeover for Borivali, aiming to improve pedestrian safety for commuters. The redevelopment would introduce newly defined auto and share-rickshaw stands, reserved BEST bus halts and wider pedestrian zones to allow smooth movement.
