The Assam government on Sunday shut down mobile internet services in 24 districts to prevent cheating or question paper leakage as recruitment examinations were conducted for Grade III posts in 48 state government departments. Services were snapped from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. The government will take similar measures on August 28 for written exams for Grade IV jobs.
