Mobile retailers to observe 'No UPI Day' on Oct 2

AIMRA has called for a 'No UPI Day' on October 2, protesting the government's 0.4% MDR on UPI transactions above ₹2,000. Retailers will cover QR codes with black cloth. AIMRA estimates the charge will cost small mobile retailers ₹500 crore annually, demanding zero MDR to keep digital payments affordable.
