On March 27, 2025, the Ministry of Defence signed a contract with Armoured Vehicle Nigam Limited for the procurement of the Nag Missile System (NAMIS) tracked version of the anti-tank weapon platform and Force Motors Ltd & Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd for around 5,000 light vehicles for the Armed Forces at a total cost of around ₹2,500 crore.
