Model San Rechal Gandhi, who was crowned Miss Pondicherry 2022 and represented India at Miss Africa Golden 2023 pageant, died by suicide aged 26 in Puducherry. Investigators suspect financial stress may have pushed her to take the step. A suicide note recovered by police stated that no one was to be held responsible for her death.
