The modern-day internet was started on January 1, 1983, with the introduction of the TCP/IP protocol. ARPANET was officially established, which later went on to become present-day internet. The old basic communication language of the internet, known as the NCP protocol, was turned off by the collaborative operators of the existing networking hardware.
