Reacting to BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad’s remark on the Opposition meeting, TMC MP Saugata Roy said that his statement holds no importance. He further called the Narendra Modi-led government "communal". He added, "[The] Modi government has been selfish…narrow-minded and dependent on [Gautam] Adani." Earlier, Prasad had said that the Opposition is an alliance of selfish people.
