Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday released a theme song, titled ‘Mera Desh Badal Raha Hai, Aage Badh Raha Hai’, to mark two years of the BJP government at the Centre. The three-minute song mentions initiatives by the Modi government like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and the ‘Fasal Beema Yojana’. Notably, Modi had taken office on May 26, 2014.
