The suit worn by PM Narendra Modi with his name woven into it in gold pinstripes, was stitched by JadeBlue, an Ahmedabad-based clothing chain. Auctioned for ₹4.3 crores, the suit holds the record for the most-expensive suit auctioned. JadeBlue has been styling Modi since 1989, and even has the rights to use the label of ‘Modi kurta’ under its brand.
