The Mohali MC will proceed with the sealing of properties of chronic property tax defaulters, particularly major commercial and industrial establishments, from January 7 without further notice. Municipal Commissioner Parminder Pal Singh said sealing notices have been served, and final warnings issued granting a period of 3 days for clearance of outstanding tax, applicable penalty and interest.
