Mohammad Nawaz sanctioned after testing positive for cannabis-related substance

Pakistan spinner Mohammad Nawaz has accepted a three-month ban after testing positive for Carboxy-THC, a cannabis-related substance, following a T20 World Cup match against the Netherlands. The ban was backdated to May 1 and reduced to one month after he agreed to complete treatment. Having served two-and-a-half months, his provisional suspension has been lifted, the ICC said on Friday.
