A bonnet Macaque monkey bite caused the death of a 66-year-old man in Karnataka. The Forest department has captured the simian and sent its blood samples for rabies testing. The monkey bit below the left elbow Guthyyappa Rangappa of Arakere village in Honnalli when he stepped out of his house early Sunday morning. He succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
