A monkey snatched a woman's purse containing jewellery worth over ₹20 lakh near the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan. The locals tried to rescue the purse from the monkey but failed in their attempt, with a police official saying, "The panic was real." With the help of CCTV footage, police traced the bag to a bush and recovered it.
