Months after DMK lost election, MK Stalin decides to overhaul party

Months after DMK lost the Tamil Nadu Assembly election to debutant TVK, president MK Stalin approved nine resolutions to overhaul the party's organisation. The reforms include upper age limits for several organisational posts, such as 45 for Branch Committee Secretaries. Additionally, leaders will be allowed to hold organisational posts only for two years to allow fresh faces to enter.
