More screen time in childhood linked to better cognition as teens: Study

A study published in Paediatric Exercise Science found that children who spent more time on screens tended to show better cognitive processing as teenagers. A researcher said what children do on screens may be key, urging parents and teachers to encourage activities promoting active thinking, problem-solving. Screen time should be balanced with physical activity, the researcher added.
