Morgan Stanley has cut about 2% of its global workforce, as per a report. The layoffs reportedly affected 1,600 of the company’s 81,567 employees. Previously, Morgan Stanley made global cuts in 2019 when it fired about 2% of its employees. Last week, Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman said that the company is "making modest job cuts worldwide".
